As a multi-sport athlete, Zac understands the processes of training, recovery, and rehabilitation firsthand. At the Body Shop, he works closely with the PTs and trainers to seamlessly integrate massage into your fitness or recovery program. Zac uses evidence-based techniques that boost athletic performance, injury recovery, range of motion and ease of movement, while reducing aches, pains, tightness and stress. He specializes in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Connective Tissue Therapy (Myofascial) and Peripheral Neurological Facilitation techniques.
Before Zac began his massage practice, he graduated from NAU and became certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He then spent two years exploring mental and emotional health as a therapeutic wilderness guide and mentor to at-risk youth and young adults. Since beginning his career in bodywork in 2015, he has worked with hundreds of massage clients. When not practicing massage, Zac finds his balance through highline, yoga, rock climbing, and meditation.
